Robbie is best remembered for his decade-long run with Liverpool in the English Premier League. Known for his uncanny ability to find the back of the net, he ranks No. 5 on the league’s all-time list for goals. He started his career with a bang, winning PFA Young Player of the Year awards in 1995 and 1996. In the mid and late 90s, he was widely considered England’s most natural finisher, scoring more than 30 goals for three consecutive seasons (1995-97). He remains the only player to score 30-plus goals in his first three full seasons in England, a standard which has also yet to be equalled in La Liga, Seria A and the Bundesliga

The 2000-01 season is widely regarded Robbie’s best. He appeared in three finals, scoring 17 goals and lifting three trophies in a unique cup treble (League Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Cup). He was capped for England 26 times during his illustrious career, scoring seven goals and playing in Euro 96, Euro 2000 and the 2002 World Cup.
